To generate technical and scientific information in the fields of atmospheric contamination, waste, toxic substances, contaminated sites and transgenics, which can help environmental authority decision-makers and strengthen the capacity of Mexican government functionaries and technicians.

VISION

Act as a center of reference for information pertaining to the monitoring, sampling and analysis of atmospheric contaminants, waste, toxic substances and transgenics, as well as generate scientific and technical information that can support environmental management in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
